First Boeing
777 for KLM in Final Assembly
August 12, 2003
The fuselage sections for the first Boeing [NYSE: BA] 777-200ER for KLM
Royal Dutch Airlines are joined together to form an airplane body at a
factory in Everett, Wash. (USA). The jetliner, scheduled for delivery to
KLM in October, will be the first to incorporate the first fully certified
Class 3 Jeppesen Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), using hardware from
Astronautics Corp.`
The EFB puts all the information needed to fly the airplane – manuals,
weight-and-balance information and more – at the pilot's fingertips in
digital form.
KLM is the first Dutch airline to purchase the 777, world-famous for its
passenger comfort and advanced technology.
KLM has four 777-200ERs on order and has signed leases for six more. (data

Boeing 737-700 Transavia Airlines, based on the model
B737-300 by FFX (Erick Cantu).
This Transavia B737-700 with registration PH-XRZ was delivered on February
18th 2003 at "Schiphol Airport" Amsterdam, the homebase of Transavia
Airlines. The PH-XRZ is the first "own" 700 of Transavia.
On this repaint I was working several weeks to get "the closest approach
to the original" with all tiny details and colors. Most bitmaps have an
alpha channel to provide a sharp image
and reflective textures. No mipmaps are used.
Although the NG B737-700 is slightly different than the 300 series the
fuselage has nearly the same length. The new CMF56-7B engines have a
thrust of 24.200lbs. The 300series have 22.000lbs.
Flight dynamics has been changed dramatically in order to obtain a smooth
performance and really flies horizontal at cruise speed. Depending on
payload and fuel you can easily land at 140kts.
Included are Boeing737-700.air and aircraft.cfg files for both FS2002 and
FS2004. Payloads and fuel must be added in FS2004 manually. The payloads
for FS2002 has been added already.
Don't inform me about the exit door because it does not fit exactly on the
model of the B737-300, this is now a 700.
I hope you like this aircraft as much I like to make it........

Thanks for downloading my BAe 146-200QT
aircraft model. This release marks the third year of development for my
146 model, and with the recent release of FS2004: A Century of Flight,
this latest version not only incorporates the best features our favorite
sim has to offer, but introduces a new concept in the form of ‘AIS’, more
on that shortly.
The
BAe 146 – A Brief History
The
BAe 146 took to the air commercially in 1983, and was designed to meet the
demanding requirements of the regional air transport market. Outstanding
short runway performance and whisper-jet noise levels are other attributes
of this extraordinary aircraft. A total of 221 BAe 146s were built and
delivered between 1983 and 1993. The first prototype 146 is now being
converted as a specialized atmospheric research aircraft and will be
delivered to its customer during 2002. Three different length versions of
the BAe 146 were built - the Series 100 with 70-84 seats, the 200 with
85-100 seats and the 300 with 100-112 seats. The aircraft was also
manufactured as a pure freighter (QT- Quiet Trader), a QCQuick Change
variant and as a VIP transport aircraft. It has been my wish to produce a
model for the Flightsim environment that captures the unique ‘spirit’ of
this little aircraft, which is often referred to as the baby Boeing. Sadly
the 146 is no longer operating in New Zealand skies, but it certainly left
its mark on New Zealand aviation, and remains a favorite for many
operators and passengers alike around the world. |

FSPainter's
Airbus A319 easy Jet (Switzerland)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The folder contains a repaint of the first Airbus A319 aircraft delivered
to easy Jet (Switzerland) and
which entered service in 2003.
Included is:
HB-JZA : CFM engines, easy Jet (Switzerland)
The aircraft is a complete package and includes FSPainter's CFM model
files. Although it is primarily designed for AI Flight it can be flown in
its own right. Personally when I fly this package as non AI I use Marco
Spada's A319/320/321 panel and an Airbus sound package of which there are
several available. A separate aircraft.config file is included should you
wish to fly non AI. See installation notes.
The textures of the model are 32 bit with Alpha but with no mips for
better quality, and they are in the main hand painted.
Please note that these textures are not for commercial sale and also are
not affiliated with or endorsed by easy Jet (Switzerland).
Special thanks to FS Painter whose model and paint kit form the basis for
this repaint

This aircraft can be basically used also with FS2004
because it is made with FSDS Ver. 2.24 .
However, the aerofoil tip might not be able to enter in the screen in the
spot taking a picture view because of very wide the width of the aircraft.
Please switch to the spot taking a picture view with other aircraft when
this state happens seeming this as it is because the magnification switch
of the spot taking a picture doesn't operate well.
Afterwards, if this aircraft is chosen by selecting the aircraft, it is
sure to be displayed by a normal magnification. |
